Much of today's leadership training and development focuses on the "doing" side of the professional. Just as critical, however, is the "being" side. The being is the "inner self" of a leader. It is the deepest level of who the leader is -- the character that shapes what they do with their time, their attention, and their actions. Knowing how to cultivate the being is fundamental to leadership growth. As Dee Hock, founder and CEO emeritus of Visa International, points out, those that seek to lead spend 50 percent of their time leading themselves.

Advanced Leadership Styles Tele-Course -- This course is designed to tap into the professional's unique abilities and the eight critical elements present in powerful leaders (as portrayed in the Leader Being Model). It begins by looking at leadership in today's world and explores the leadership challenges and trends that contribute to the expanding need for looking within.

The core of the tele-course will center on The Leader Being Model and powerful tools for connecting with and cultivating the leader's being. Because of the uniqueness of focusing on being, participants will have the chance to demonstrate their ability integrating the techniques through interactive drills, discussion, and weekly assignments.

Tele-Course Information: A FREE Introductory Call will take place in 2007.
The first tele-course will begin in July. It will run for 3 months, with a 90-minute class twice a month (conducted over the phone via a bridge-line). Class size is limited to 15 participants.
