What's your story? Tell me what you do, who you are, and tell me why I should get behind you. What is the most compelling aspect you want me to know -- about you, your work, your cause? In the non-profit arena there is incredible work going on, produced by even more amazing individuals who have hearts larger than life. It is a world packed with fabulous stories: of success, failure, tenacity, hope, loyalty, suffering, honor, selflessness, caring, and most importantly, need. And these are stories just waiting to be told, wanting to be heard.

The key to hearing? It's all in the message...A story told that conveys a message that motivates your listeners (be it into action, donation of money to your cause, or speaking up for what you stand for). As a leadership coach (and director for a non-profit conservation organization), one of my most rewarding areas is to work with clients in developing and telling their story. I assist others in finding their voice and crafting their message that touches others who are waiting in the winds of the words.
